There was plenty of trade activity all day Wednesday from rumors to agreements on trades. Here’s what all went down on the eve of this year’s trade deadline:

TRADES

The Washington Wizards acquired SG Bojan Bogdanovic and PF Chris McCullough from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for PF Andrew Nicholson, SG Marcus Thornton, and a 2017 lottery-protected first round pick. Thornton was later waived by Brooklyn.

The Atlanta Hawks acquired PF Ersan Ilysaova from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for C Tiago Splitter, a future second-round pick, and the ability to swap an additional second-round pick. This marks the fifth time that Ilysaova has been dealt since June 2015.

CHATTER

The Chicago Bulls remain interested in 76ers C Jahlil Okafor, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported via Twitter.

Patrick Beverley has drawn interest from the Bulls, Knicks, and Cavs, Calvin Watkins of ESPN reported via Twitter.

The Indiana Pacers are testing the market for SF Paul George, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported via Twitter.

The New York Knicks are seeking a first-round draft pick for PF/C Kyle O’Quinn, Ian Begley of ESPN New York announced via Twitter.

The Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls discussed a trade surrounding SF Jimmy Butler, sources told The Lead. Boston is highly interested in the swingman but was reluctant to include SF Jae Crowder in trade discussions.

The Minnesota Timberwolves continue to show interest in Knicks PG Derrick Rose, Marc Berman of The New York Post reported. (link)

The Cleveland Cavaliers are interested in Mavericks PG Deron Williams, Mike Fisher of CBS Sports announced via Twitter.

NON-TRADE RELATED ACTIVITY

The New Orleans Pelicans signed SF Hollis Thompson to a 10-day contract, Marc Stein of ESPN announced via Twitter.

The Cleveland Cavaliers re-signed Derrick Williams to a second 10-day contract. Once this expires, the Cavs will have to decide whether to sign Williams for the remainder of the season or release him.

Larry Sanders held a workout with the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier today in hopes of a return to the NBA. Sanders has not played since the 2014-15 season with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Trade Deadline takes place Thursday at 3 PM ET. Stay tuned to The Lead for all your trade deadline coverage.
