Klay Thompson’s 60 Point Outburst – December 5th vs Indiana Pacers

There is several players in the league that become unstoppable when they “catch fire” but no one in the world is more deadly than Klay Thompson. Before this outstanding 60 point performance we saw a 37 point single quarter performance from Klay which set the record for most points in a quarter. Thompson becomes an absolutely effortless scorer from every part of the court. But even with 60 points scored in 3 quarters (29 minutes played) the most impressive part of this game was Thompson’s movement on the court. Thompson only held the ball a total of 90 seconds and only dribbled 11 times. In this game Klay Thompson showed us just how deadly a “catch and shoot” play style can be.

DeMarcus Cousins’ 55 Point Performance – December 20th vs Portland Trail Blazers

This game ended in drama, which tends to surround the Sacramento Kings organization, but DeMarcus Cousins killed the Portland Trail Blazers inside and out. Boogie shot 61% from the field, 94% from the free throw, made 5 three-pointers, and grabbed 13 rebounds. The Portland Trail Blazers had no answer for Cousin’s dominating size, strength, and speed. DeMarcus Cousins showed why he his the best center in the NBA, and even voiced his opinion of the refs biased actions towards him.

John Wall’s 52 Point Game – December 6th vs Orlando Magic

John Wall has said that he believes he is not given enough credit for his talents, and in this game he proved he is an underrated star player. John Wall dominated as he attacked the rim, and hit 5 three-pointers, but for him this game was still a disappointment. His team still lost, and he could see his team missing the playoffs despite his great play.

Russell Westbrook’s 51 Point Performance – October 28th vs Phoenix Suns

Russell Westbrook is averaging a league high 30.9 PPG and and is also averaging a triple-double with 10.9 APG and 10.5 RPG. He has impressed every NBA fan this season with his statistical dominance and this night was no different. He didn’t shoot very well from the field (17-44) but besides 51 points he also grabbed 13 rebounds, finished with 10 assists, and got a 113-110 win over the Phoenix Suns.

Anthony Davis’ 50 Point Game – October 26th vs Denver Nuggets

Anthony Davis started the season with an amazing all-around performance. He had 50 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals, and 4 blocks. He was the early favorite for the MVP based on statistics but his team started with a poor 0-8 record and have continued to be a below average team since. Either way Anthony Davis dominated the game and showed us a glimpse into the future of the NBA.
