Two-time NBA Finals Champion, Andre Iguodala is opening up his options this free agency according to The Vertical.
The Golden State Warriors are estimated by some to spend approximately $1.3 billion in order to keep their championship core together. Doing that, it’s somewhat impossible to keep a 33 year old Andre Iguodala apart of that core, as he still holds massive value on the court (2017 finalist for sixth man of the year).
Teams expected to seriously go after Iguodala include: the Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves & Atlanta Hawks says The Vertical.
Although Iguodala is another year older in his 30’s, he got better in just about every statistical category from last season in less minutes. His veteran leadership & unpredictably off of the bench could help any team looking for a bench spark & a consistent playmaker on both sides of the floor.
The 2015 NBA Finals MVP will be able to start negotiations July 1st when free agency officially begins.
