Each week here on Bucks Lead you can look forward to reading Bucks Roundup, a recap of last weeks’ games and a look ahead to the upcoming week!

Friday February 23: Milwaukee Bucks 122 Toronto Raptors 119

The Bucks started off hot after the All-Star break with a huge overtime win against the first place team in the eastern conference. With big games from the the big 3 Giannis, Middleton and Bledsoe along with much needed points off the bench from Thon Maker and Jason Terry, the bucks leave Toronto with a confidence building win.

Sunday February 25: New Orleans Pelicans 123 Milwaukee Bucks 121

The Bucks started off scoring well again in the first half of this game, but because of another low scoring third quarter, Milwaukee found itself in its second straight overtime game against a playoff caliber opponent. This time the Bucks fell to the Pelicans, largely because of Jrue Holiday’s season high 36 points.

Tuesday February 27: Washington Wizards 107 Milwaukee Bucks 104

This was a huge game in Milwaukee in terms of playoff seeding. The Bucks started off slow and the first quarter ended with the Wizards up 18. Milwaukee spent the rest of the game clawing their way back into it and eventually tying the game up. Unfortunately, the Wizards overcame the comeback and the Bucks lose another close one at home.

Wednesday February 28: Detroit Pistons 110 Milwaukee Bucks 87

The Milwaukee Bucks headed into Detroit with another impactful game for playoff seeding against the Pistons. This was the first time the Bucks saw the new look Pistons after their big trade for Blake Griffin. Yet again the Bucks have another awfully low scoring quarter in the second only putting up 12 points. As we all were waiting for, and expecting, the Bucks to get back into the game they ended with a poor 17 point fourth quarter and the lose their 3rd straight game.

Friday March 2: Indiana Pacers 103 Milwaukee Bucks 96

Yet again another huge game for the playoff seeding in the cluttered Eastern Conference against the Indiana Pacers. The Bucks played well throughout this one but partly because of a rare inefficient shooting night from Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee falls again to another playoff caliber opponent. The Bucks have lost 4 straight and dropped to the 7th seed in the East.

Sunday March 4: Milwaukee Bucks 118 Philadelphia 76ers 110

This is starting to sound familiar but here we are with another important game that will impact playoff seeding against another young up and coming team in the east. Not familiar enough? Well the Bucks started the night slow again and ended the first quarter down 12. The Bucks stepped up their defense after the first quarter of this game, overcoming deficits of 20 and 19 points, and the Bucks got the win over the 76ers. This was a much needed win for the Bucks to end a four game losing streak and gain some confidence going down this important stretch to end the season.

This Week

Coming up this week the Bucks have another important game against the Indiana Pacers on Monday. The Bucks will then welcome the Houston Rockets to town on Wednesday. The Rockets have won 16 straight games and Milwaukee seems to have a formula for ending long winning streaks in the NBA. To end the week, the Bucks will welcome the New York Knicks to town on Friday in what should be a win for Milwaukee. The Bucks are hoping to get PG Matthew Dellavadova back this week from his ankle injury, but there’s still no word on when Malcolm Brogdon is slated to return. Once the Bucks get fully healthy, they should get back to winning games they should with more scoring coming off the ben
