Tuesday October 31st: Thunder 110, Bucks 91
The outcome of this game was apparent midway through the first quarter as Oklahoma City dominated the Bucks on both sides of the ball. The lone bright spot for Milwaukee was Giannis’ 28 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. No other Bucks reached double digits in this difficult-to-watch, one-sided Thunder domination. Paul George led all Thunder players with 20 points, while Carmelo Anthony and Jerami Grant each racked up 17 points. Russell Westbrook finished the night one assist away from a triple double.
Wednesday November 1st: Hornets 126, Bucks 121
The Bucks came up short in this defenseless shootout on the back of Khris Middleton’s career-best scoring of 43 points. Giannis finished the night with a meager 14 points after struggling with foul trouble, while Brogdon scored 20, Snell 17 and Teletovic with 12 on 4 of 6 from deep. The Bucks had a three point lead heading into the fourth quarter, but their defense ultimately fell apart as this game became out of reach. Kemba Walker led all Hornets with 26 points, with Malik Monk contributing 25. Dwight Howard finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Friday November 3rd: Pistons 105, Milwaukee 96
The Pistons are playing tough ball this season, handing the Bucks their third straight loss. Milwaukee has fallen below .500 while Detroit moves into second place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 7-3. The Bucks finished the first half down by 11 and never really threatened to take this one back. Thon Maker was out-muscled under the basket yet again, with Andre Drummond pulling down 15 rebounds and scoring 24 points, including going 14 of 16 at the free throw line. Avery Bradley added 23 points, and ex-Buck Tobias Harris finished with 13. Giannis, per usual, led all Bucks with 29 points, while Brogdon kicked in 21 and Middleton added 16.
