The Chicago Bulls and the Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to a trade, reported by Yahoo Sports The Vertical. The Bulls will send Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott, and a 2018 second-round pick to the Thunder in return for Cameron Payne, Joffrey Lauvergne, and Anthony Morrow.

With Gibson and McDermott heading to OKC, the Thunder now have more scoring options to go to. This season, McDermott is averaging 10 ppg (career high) from the field. His outside shooting is likewise to a great degree important to the Thunder as he is shooting 37 percent from three.

Gibson is a premier back to the basket player. He also has the ability to hit from mid-range as well. This season, Gibson is averaging 11 ppg on 52 percent shooting from the field. Gibson is also averaging seven rebounds a game.

Cameron Payne was drafted by OKC in 2015-16. With his tenure in OKC, he averaged five ppg on 38 percent shooting from the field.
