Cavs Officials Sign Derrick Williams For Rest Of Season

on

The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed forward Derrick Williams for the remainder of the NBA season. Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin announced the decision from Cleveland Clinic Courts, according to NBA.com

Williams, a five-year pro from Arizona, is currently having a consistency level that has been unmatched yet in his career. For the nine games in which he has played for Cleveland, he is averaging 10 points on 56 percent shooting from the field. He is also shooting 43 percent from three as well.

Williams started the season out in Miami where he averaged six points per game. The Cavaliers picked him up on a 10-day contract on Feb.9. Safe to say, he has found a home in Cleveland as he would be a key x-factor in the team getting to the Finals and possibly winning it all.
