Chris Paul’s Season Has Been Clipped Short

on

So yesterday we heard the news that based on Curry’s MRI, he could miss two or more weeks for his sprained MCL injury. So with that in mind the winner, presumably the Clippers would have an easier (not much easier but easier none the less) time vs the Warriors in the next round. Well, that’s not the case, and now they might not even get out of the first round with the heartbreaking news last night. Superstar Point Guard and presumably the best player on the team Chris Paul will miss the remainder of the season with a Broken hand.

The Los Angeles Clippers can never seem to catch a break and this blow proves that. Losing your best player on an already thin team will hurt tremendously especially when the team(s) you are playing and would play against, the Blazers and Warriors have amazing guard combos in Klay and Curry and CJ and Lillard.  The injury hurts more towards facilitation, leadership and defense more than flat out the scoring. Paul is arguably the best defender on the team, BY FAR the best passer in the NBA and without a doubt is the team leader. It’s tough as a fan of that team, NBA in general or the leagues point of view to see a team lose a superstar like that, especially in playoff time. Hopefully, he comes back strong and doesn’t miss a step.
