Dan Gilbert couldn’t wait until the 25th to reveal the championship banner. The Cleveland Cavaliers owner unveiled it Sunday night to members of Wine and Gold United (the season ticket holders club), before showing the banner to the rest of the world via twitter.

The banner is a solid wine-color that is 100 inches wide and 164 inches tall, has white and bright gold accents. It also features the Cavaliers “C” logo wrapped around the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
To add a unique touch to the banner, the names of the people that were members of the Wine and Gold Club during the 2015-16 season have been stitched into a piece of fabric that will be permanently sewn between the front and back panel of the banner before it’s raised.
The NBA season will tip off when LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks on opening night, Tuesday October 25th at 8 p.m. ET.
