Cousins Drops 55 in Win Over Blazers

on

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins could not be stopped on Tuesday night, collecting a season-high 55 points in the team’s 126-121 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Cousins’ size and skill proved too much for the Blazers to handle as he consistently overpowered Portland defenders throughout the game.

The two-time All-Star is now just the third active player with multiple 55-plus-point games in his career, joining LeBron James (three) and Kyrie Irving (two).

Cousins night was almost cut short with under a minute remaining in the contest after his second technical foul of the evening was shockingly rescinded.
