Sacramento Kings guard Darren Collison has been arrested on Monday May 30th for Domestic Violence, reported by ESPN. Collison was arrested on Monday morning, after authorities received a call at about 2am, of a woman being assaulted. When authorities arrived the woman had visible marks. Collison was booked on one account of domestic violence, and he had two misdemeanor warrants for driving on a suspended license.
Sacramento Kings said in a statement following the arrest, “The Sacramento Kings condemn violence of any kind,” the team said. “We are gathering additional information and once all facts are known we will take appropriate steps.”
Collison who averaged 14 PPG and 4.3 APG for the Kings, was injured late in the season and missed a total of 33 games.
