DeMarcus Cousins: Embiid Could Be The Best “After I Retire”

on

DeMarcus Cousins and Joel Embiid put on a show, as two of the top big men in the league face off.  Cousins filled up the stat sheet, as he finished with 30 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assist, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.  But Embiid did not look like a rookie, as he held his own.  Embiid would finish the night with 25 points, 8 rebounds,2 steals, and 2 blocks.

The game would go down to the wire, as Cousins hits a three to give the Sacramento Kings a one point lead with 20 seconds left to play.  The Kings would defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 102-100.

After the game, Cousins had some kind words for Embiid.

Seems like Boogie has some respect for the kid. Which he displayed during the first quarter of this game.  Cousins and Embiid got into a “butt slapping” contest while running down the court.  Cousins initiated it, but Embiid kept it going.
