DeMarcus Cousins Is Fed Up With The Refs

on

After a controversial win over the Portland Trailblazers, DeMarcus Cousins did not hold back how he was feeling towards the refs and Mason Plumlee.

The incident that upset DeMarcus was a late fourth quarter technical foul, which caused him to get ejected.  But the refs did rescind the call, so Cousins was allowed back into the game.

What caused Cousins to get the tech in the first place was him spitting his mouth guard out by mistake.  Cousins was showing emotion after he scored an and-1. But it appeared as if he purposely spit the mouth guard at the Blazers bench.

Relax Cousins

Cousins did have a right to be upset about the situation, but to make it seem like refs were out to get him is wrong.  Cousins brings a lot of negative attention to himself, on the court and off the court.  So it’s understandable for the refs to believe that he intentionally spit at the Blazers bench.

Cousins attitude is what makes him a dominant and talented player, but it’s also the same attitude that gives him a bad reputation.

If Cousins could somehow channel his attitude into his game, the NBA better watch out.  Tonight is just another example of what he’s capable of doing on the basketball court.
