As the NBA trade deadline approach us, the trade rumors are heating up specifically involving the New Orleans Pelicans. According to ESPN and league sources, the Pelicans have inquired about DeMarcus Cousins.
The Pelicans would allegedly offer Buddy Hield and multiple draft picks for the All-Star. In the past however, the Sacramento Kings have made it known that they are not willing to trade Cousins.
But most recently the Kings organization have expressed concern about Cousins’ future with the organization. Adrian Wojnarowski has stated that the Kings are “still debating Cousins’ future internally.”
With Cousins being a top 10 player in the league, and a dominant force in the paint, expect a few more teams to contact the Kings over the big man.
