After laying off about 100 employees just the past couple of days with notable reporters such as Marc Stein, David Thorpe, Ethan Strauss, Chad Ford, and Henry Abbott, ESPN has done something truly remarkable by adding one of the best reporters in the NBA world.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports The Vertical and ESPN have agreed to a deal that would bring Wojnarowski along with members of The Vertical over to ESPN. Wojnarowski is famous for breaking news and inside analysis to the league. By bringing him in, ESPN made their most high-profile hire to the NBA beat.

Peter Kafka is the one who first reported the story. According to Kafka, Wojnarowski will start during the NBA draft.
