Fantasy football is slowly nearing playoff time, but quickly approaching the trade deadline.
Who to keep? Who to trade? While many teams have one or two standout performers, it may be time to give up, or keep, that questionable performer.
J.K. Dobbins – Trade
One of the most shocking players this season has been J.K. Dobbins. Clearly emerging as Denver’s primary back, Dobbins continues to shine in Sean Payton‘s offense. However, is there enough value in Dobbins to hold on to?
Ranked 18th among fantasy RBs, Dobbins has had a consistent season. However, in the last four games, he has only managed to go above double digits once. With Denver still having tough run defenses to face, how much faith is there in Dobbins to perform above his 11.3 average?
Broncos fans may end up keeping Dobbins, but seasoned fantasy veterans will shop the trade market.

Lamar Jackson – Keep
Before the stones were thrown, coming into the season Lamar Jackson and the Ravens were considered Super Bowl favorites. Suffering through agonizing defeats, setback injuries, and a restless fan base have led to a disaster. In spite of this, hope remains for this Ravens team, specifically Lamar Jackson.
In four out of five games this year, Jackson has scored 25 or more fantasy points. Consistency is a rare commodity in anything fantasy, and Jackson is a player that can be counted on to change the course of a matchup. In numerous leagues managers let go of Jackson far too early, which is proving to be a costly mistake.
Be that as it may, Jackson should be a clear starter to finish the fantasy season.

Xavier Worthy – Trade
Perhaps the largest disappointment of fantasy football so far has been Xavier Worthy. A player that was expected to be a clear target for Mahomes, Worthy has dwindled to a below-average seasonal performance.
After recovering from a very unfortunate injury, Worthy has struggled to find rhythm. Only managing more than five catches once this season, Worthy has been limited to motion routes and 3rd-and-long situations.
As a player that broke the NFL record for the 40-yard dash, one would think that Kansas City would use this explosive receiver in his strong suits. With the return of Rashee Rice, Worthy continues his downward trend, perhaps to the bench.

Ashton Jeanty – Keep
Jeanty has consistently been a subject of debate on a struggling Raiders team.
Only three games this season has Jeanty managed to hit double-digit points. After a consistent three-game stretch of doing so, Jeanty had a poor Week 7, only tallying three points. However, this past week, Jeanty exploded out of the gate with 19 points, a total night-and-day difference.
Jeanty continues to leave fantasy managers scratching their heads. However, he seems to be establishing his rhythm on a tremendously bad Raiders offense. While trade offers should not be eliminated quite yet, aim to keep Jeanty for the season unless a high-value trade arises.
