Tuesday and Wednesday nights should be quite an interesting stand for the Milwaukee Bucks, as they take on the defending NBA champs in a back to back set. The Bucks will host the Cavs on Tuesday before traveling to Cleveland for Wednesday night’s tilt. And while the game play of Jabari Parker and Kyrie Irving will be fun to watch, the spotlight will be on the two superstars; Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James.
Giannis seems to play his better games when he clashes with the king. In the first meeting between the Bucks and the Cavs this season, Giannis tied his career high of 34 points, while adding 12 rebounds, five assists, five steals and two blocks in the Bucks 118-101 rout of Cleveland back in November.
We’re used to seeing Giannis stuff the stat sheet, but it just seems like a different atmosphere when Giannis plays against LeBron. Giannis has outscored King James in three out of the past four games by a combined score of 113-92. Despite Giannis only having a 2-8 record against LeBron in his career, it appears that Giannis has found a learning curve.
At 13-12, the Bucks currently sit in fifth place in the Eastern conference. If Giannis can lead the Bucks to another victory (or two hopefully), the rest of the league should prepare to fear the deer.
