One of the biggest headlines of the NFL offseason: the schedule release.
Although it is far too early to make any record predictions for the New York Giants, this is the perfect time to look at key moments in the upcoming season.
Primetime Games
The Giants have three primetime games on the schedule this season: one on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football.
The first primetime game of the season is Sunday night of Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs. This will be one of the most challenging games of the season for the G-Men. With these two teams only playing each other every couple of years, this is a matchup not to take for granted.
Up next is Week 6, Thursday Night Football against division rival and the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. Since 2019, the Eagles have a one-sided record of 9-3 against the Giants, and there is no sign of this changing anytime soon.
Their final primetime game of the season comes in Week 13 on Monday Night Football against the New England Patriots. This is one of the few games of the season that the Giants have an even matchup with. With both teams in the middle of a rebuild, the Giants have a real chance to make a statement in primetime.
Hardest Stretch
Although it could be said that the whole season is the most challenging stretch, the real time would be Weeks 1-6. During this stretch, the G-Men play the Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans Saints, and the Eagles. This stretch likely leaves them to start 1-5 or 2-4.
With this brutal start to the season, the Giants will have to dig themselves out of a hole. This will be the true test for Brian Daboll and the G-Men to see how much they have improved the roster.

Easiest Stretch
Finding a stretch in the schedule where the Giants will flourish is difficult without a cakewalk part of the season.
Weeks 13-18 will be the best time for the G-Men. During this stretch, the Giants play the Patriots, Commanders, Minnesota Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders, and the Cowboys. The Giants will realistically hope for at least two wins in this stretch, likely having three.
As this is the last chunk of the season, it’s an excellent opportunity to end it on a positive note.
