Pacers Reached out to Cavs About a Possible Paul George Trade

The Indiana Pacers have reached out to the Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers about a trade involving all-star Paul George, according to ESPN’s Dave MeMenamin.

Just a couple of hours ago, news broke out that George told the Pacers that he wants to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers in the summer of 2018. Just a few days ago however, George stated that he wanted to go “all out” for the Pacers this upcoming season.

A possible trade between the Cavaliers and Pacers would result in Kevin Love most likely being dealt for the Cavs. Love is coming off a not so stellar NBA Finals performance in a 4-1 loss against the now NBA champion Golden State Warriors. If the Cavaliers manage to pull this off, it would result in the Cavaliers getting better defensively as George is one of the most premier defensive wing players in the league.

Per The Vertical, talks are still at a minimum at this moment.
