Lebron James moves to the 8th spot in scoring

on

In yesterday’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, Lebron James passed Moses Malone in the scoring list. James, who now has 27,442 points, finished the game with 34 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists to help the Cavs hold off a resilient Bucks team in overtime, 114-108.

This year, James has passed Hakeem Olajuwon, Elvin Hayes, and now Moses Malone on the all time scoring list.

Malone passed away in September of 2015 and is thoroughly respected in the basketball world. The 6-10, 215lb center is top 10 in scoring and top five in rebounding.

By the way, James passed Malone by getting a rebound from J.R. Smith and I’m sure Malone would’ve liked that.

Up next on the list, Lebron will aim to surpass the great Shaq. Shaq has 28,596 points to his resume and if Lebron continues to play at a high level, he certainly has a shot to become 7th all time.
