Isaiah Thomas isn’t the only star PG returning on Tuesday night in Cleveland. Blazers PG Damian Lillard is set to return from his five-game absence versus the Cavaliers, according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes. Lillard missed the last five games due to a hamstring injury.
Without their star, the Blazers went 3-2 due to tremendous play from Lillard’s backcourt mate, C.J. McCollum, as well as back-up PG Shabazz Napier. RPG, and 6.4 APG in his sixth season in the league.
The Blazers are currently 19-17 and hold the sixth seed in the Western Conference. With Lillard back, the Blazers will be at full strength, looking to maintain their playoff position heading into the All-Star break.
