What a game it was in Golden 1 Center as the Kings defeated the Hawks 108-107. This is the second consecutive game in which the Kings scored 108, and both have resulted in victories.
Ben McLemore, again, is the Reno Dodge Power Performer for the second consecutive game. Last night he had 22 points, nine rebounds and three assists. He also shot 47 percent from the field.
“I’ve been working my butt off since I got in the league and I will continue to do that,” McLemore said. “As soon as my number got called, I was prepared and ready to face the challenge and go out there mentally tough and ready.”
McLemore played 42 minutes in this game, his highest for the season. Head Coach Dave Joerger is finally seeing the potential in the 4th year player from Kansas. McLemore and guard Darren Collison fed off each other this game, making this backcourt an interesting one to say the least. Speaking of Collison, remember this clutch layup?
