Memphis Grizzlies star point guard Mike Conley will be out indefinitely while dealing with complications of soreness in his Achilles and left heel. The team announced Friday that there is no set time for his return, as more updates will be made available in two weeks.
With the loss of Conley, it now puts the Grizzlies (7-7) in a position to maintain the eighth seed in the tough Western Conference. The Grizzlies have also lost three straight games have upcoming games against the Houston Rockets tomorrow, Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, and the Denver Nuggets on Friday.
This will be an ultimate test to see how the Grizzlies will fare without their star point guard, but it will now leave even more of a workload on star center Marc Gasol.
