NBA All Star Update

Russell Westbrook just entered the game as a substitution for Steph Curry with Kevin Durant on the court still. This is their first time playing on the court together at the same time since Durant’s last game in OKC.

Update: KD just assisted Westbrook on an alley-oop. Perhaps the two will make some strides together tonight.

At the next dead ball, all the other West All Stars celebrated, clapped, and cheered when Durant and Westbrook returned to the bench. For those who missed the spectacle: there was some confetti involved.

Update: Westbrook was asked in an in-game interview was asked about the lob from Durant. His response was saying how good the give and go was, avoiding any comment on the emotional aspect of playing on the court with KD again.

Update: Durant was just interviewed at halftime and called Westbrook a “great player.” After that, though, he went on the denounce the alley-oop as nothing more than, “Great pass, great finish.”
