What was supposed to be a quiet trade deadline after some big names moved around in the last couple weeks, has turned out to be anything but. The Cavs shook things up by trading Isaiah Thomas, just 15 games into his season with the team. Isaiah Thomas is a strong candidate to be bought-out once the trade is completed.
What shouldn’t be a surprise, although it kind of is, is seeing the Cavs make some wholesale changes. We all knew their ship was sinking if they didn’t. Koby Altman is wheeling and dealing.
Cleveland has also agreed to trade Dwyane Wade back to the Miami Heat, for a heavily protected 2nd round pick.
