Former Golden State Warriors guard Ian Clark will be joining the New Orleans Pelicans this upcoming season on a one-year deal for a reported $1.6 million (The Vertical).

Unfortunately the world watched as the Warriors failed to cap off one of best seasons in NBA history during Clark’s first season. During his time with Golden State he was a big part of the Warriors bench which was regarded as one of the strongest in the league.

Last year marked Clark’s 6th season in the NBA with stints in Utah, Denver, and time in the D-League. It was the Golden State Warriors where he found his place, signing with the Warriors after their first championship win in almost 40 years.

During the Warriors 73-win season he provided great production which included a career high of 21 points against the Mavericks in December 2015. Clark departs the Warriors coming off his best year yet after setting a new career high of 36 points, shooting 48% from the field and 37% from the three-point line, and most importantly, becoming an NBA Champion.
