A newly released report from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports The Vertical states that the Minnesota Timberwolves are actively looking for trade destinations for G Ricky Rubio.

The Timberwolves are looking for a guard to come in short term, due to the fact the rookie Kris Dunn isn’t quite prepared yet for the starting role. As Dunn gets more experience, he will be the expected starter for this Wolves team if the trade happens.

Rubio came into the league in 2011 from Barcelona. During his rookie year, he averaged 10 points and eight assists a game. Rubio has always been noted for his amazing and flashy passing abilities.

His three-point shooting, which has always been his struggle, is now at its worst in his career. He is shooting 24 percent from three this season.
