Rudy Gobert’s Career Night

Rudy Gobert is pretty good at this sport called basketball and keeps showing us that his potential is through the roof.

The Jazz beat the Knicks last night, 108-101, in Utah behind a career-high 35 points from Rudy Gobert. Gobert also finished with 13 rebounds for the night.

I didn’t think I was going to score 35,” Gobert said to reporters following his career night. Gobert is not quite known for his offense, in fact, he is now averaging his career high in points per game, 13.5. Many did not know that the former D-League player would have this potential to elevate his game offensively.

Gobert is a defensive minded center, who possibly might win defensive player of the year, by averaging 2.6 blocks per game.

“I’m just working every day and keep watching film and keep building chemistry with my teammates. I feel more confident and my teammates believe in me even more. I just try to set good screens and get my teammates open. Tonight, I was able to get behind the defense and get on those balls. I wasn’t really thinking. Just keep playing play after play,” he said following his performance.
