Russell Westbrook? The Brodie? How about from now on, we call him Mr. Triple Double because he just did something that we probably wouldn’t see for a long time.
After helping his Thunder defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 110-79, Westbrook had 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists. With that triple double, Westbrook tied Oscar Robertson for the most in a single season, 41.
Yes you read that correctly. 41 triple doubles in a single season. As you can probably imagine, MVP chants soon followed.
Robertson had the record in the 1961-62 season.
Tonight, the Thunder will be in Memphis to take on the Grizzlies as Westbrook goes for his 42nd triple double of the season.
Goodness this guy is amazing!
