The month of March has shown us many different ball players showcase their talents to high levels. Thus far we’ve seen a 16 seed take down a 1 seed when UMBC trounced Virginia, that bizarre three point shot that put Michigan on top in a stunning thriller victory against Houston, and Nevada overcoming a 22 point deficit to beat Cincinnati. Anything goes this month and with that, the Sixers need to shut down a particular Hornet that has had many shining moments in the month of madness.

Kemba Walker to this date is averaging 22.6 points along with just under six dimes per contest. In the first meeting between these two teams back on March 2nd, Walker posted up 31 points while shooting 4-10 from three in a losing effort. The last time the two teams gathered at the Spectrum Center, Cardiac Kemba was shutdown and held to only five points shooting 1-9 from the floor on March 6th.
Now, the question is if he’ll be like March 2nd Kemba or March 6th Kemba. Due to his quickness and elusiveness on the floor, you never know which player will show up. With the Sixers ranking top 15 in DREB%, steals and blocks per game, they have to keep the game at their pace. The Sixers rank sixth in the league in opponents fast break points, so slowing down the Hornets is necessary.
