Ty Lawson Missed Team Flight

on

According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, Sacramento Kings guard Ty Lawson was late to the team shoot around, and he missed the team’s flight to Kentucky.  Sources close to Stein says that Lawson “faces an uncertain future” with the Kings.

Lawson has been in and out of trouble during his career, even going back to his North Carolina days (pleaded guilty to underage drinking and driving).  In 2015 Lawson was arrested for driving under the influence.  He entered himself into a 30 day treatment program following the incident.

Lawson has seen his career go down hill within the last few seasons.  After putting up stellar number for the Nuggets during the 2014-2015 NBA season,  which he averaged 15.2 ppg and 9.6 apg, his numbers fell drastically last season.  After playing majority of last season with the Houston Rockets and finishing the season with the Pacers, Lawson put up 5.8 ppg and 3.4 apg.  Now he finds himself a new home with the Kings, hoping to revive his career.
