The second game of the Warriors season-long six game road trip was much more of a success than the opener. Wednesday night’s matchup against the Lakers saw the Warriors play sloppy basketball and an unconvincing overtime win. On Friday, however, the Warriors showcased why they are one of the most dangerous teams in the league, with their electrifying ball movement, racking up 46 assists vs Orlando.

Klay Thompson scored 27 Points on an efficient 11/14 shooting, while Durant scored 25 Points on 10/14 shooting. Stephen Curry scored notched a double-double, with 23 Points and 10 Assists. Curry also passed Jason Kidd for 8th on the All-Time 3-Point FG list. It took Curry 594 games to achieve this feat. The other Splash Brother on the team, Klay Thompson, has his own impressive streak going, as he’s made a three-pointer in 77 straight games.

Aaron Gordon led Orlando with 29 Points and 7 Rebounds, continuing to impress everyone this season. Evan Fournier also added 22 Points on an efficient 8/15 shooting.

The Warriors led from start-to-finish, executing well on offense and shooting very well from the field. They came out on fire in the first quarter, scoring a season-high 41 points in the period. The Warriors also notched a season-high in assists with 46, one off the franchise record. If they can keep up this kind of intensity, there aren’t too many teams who will be able to beat the Warriors.

The Dubs continue their six-game road trip with a clash against the Miami Heat on Sunday night. The Magic travel to New York for a matchup against the Knicks on Sunday night.
