Washington Wizards-Atlanta Hawks Game 6 Preview

Share
Share

The Washington Wizards are looking to close out the Atlanta Hawks tonight at the Phillips Arena. The question is can they? The Wiz took a 3-2 series lead 103-99 in game 5 to push the Hawks to the bring of elimination, and now they have a chance to seal the deal. The Wizards will need a much better performance than what was displayed when they first visited the Hawks for games 3 and 4.

Atlanta will look to extend this series to 7 by defending their home court once again. In both games 3 and 4 the Hawks were able to control the game on the defensive end and will need that same effort if they do not want their season to end tonight.

Keys to the game for Washington:

Heavy dose of Wall and Beal

Either Otto Porter or Markeiff Morris must show up tonight to secure the series

Contain Dennis Schroder. He has been the one consistent scorer for Atalanta outside of Milsap, if he is contained, the game will be over early.

Keys to the game for Atlanta:

Dwight Howard must show at least a fraction of his former self, he has been pretty much nonexistent in this series

Three Point shooting

Eliminate either Wall or Beal, game 3 showed what happens if one of the dynamic duo is not playing well.
