The Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly cut combo guard Travis Trice and have subsequently replaced him with Ike Nwamu, according to Keith Smith of RealGM.
Trice originally signed his training camp deal back on July 23rd. As mentioned in our previous article, the Bucks have reportedly committed to signing Tim Frazier, Christian Wood, and Shabazz Muhammad to training camp deals, but need to open three spots in order to do so. They cut Trice here, but signed Nwamu in his place. This likely means a trade is brewing, unless Bucks GM Jon Horst wants to cut three additional players.
Trice participated in Bucks summer league action this summer, averaging 8.8 points, 4.0 assists and 3.2 rebounds over 23.0 minutes per game. It is worth noting that the Wisconsin Herd acquired his rights in a three-team trade back on August 23rd (article link).
Going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft, Ike Nwamu has no NBA experience, but he has played for the Sioux City Skyforce, the NBA G-League affiliate for the Miami Heat. Last season, Nwamu played overseas for Lavrio Megabolt of the Greek Basket League (GBL).
