The Milwaukee Bucks are hitting their strides at just the right time. They will look for their 11th win in their past 13 games Friday night against the Atlanta Hawks.
For Milwaukee, this will be their first home game in just under two weeks after completing a successful 4-2 road stand. The Bucks find themselves tied with the Indiana Pacers (36-35) for sixth in the East and just a game behind Atlanta (37-34) for fifth.
For the fourth straight game, the Hawks will be without all-star forward Paul Millsap, who continues to nurse a sore knee.
We should be getting new information soon on Bucks forward Michael Beasley, whose two-week timetable for re-evaluation on his hyper-extended knee expired a few days ago. Beasley was originally given this timetable back on March 7th, and with the Bucks finally home after their six-game road stand out West, Beasley may return to the bench Friday or Sunday vs. Chicago.
Bucks center John Henson is questionable with a sprained thumb suffered in Tuesday’s win over Portland. This subsequently forced Henson to miss Wednesday’s game in Sacramento. Should he be unable to go, Spencer Hawes and Thon Maker will take over Henson’s minutes with Greg Monroe still holding the bulk of time at the five.
This is the fourth and final contest between these two teams for the regular season. The Hawks have won all three prior matchups, but with the Bucks on the rise, look for a different outcome this time.
