Draymond: “I’m Really Not The Right Guy To Talk Junk To”

on

Draymond Green just received some extra motivation thanks to the Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder.  Allegedly Green’s mother informed him that the Utah Jazz’s strategy against him was to let him shoot.  Well, Green spoke with Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News, and he didn’t agree with the strategy.

Coach Snyder denies this rumor, and there weren’t any sources close to the Jazz’s organization to back up these accusations.  Coach Snyder is actually a fan of Green, and believes he can do everything on the basketball court, including shoot the three. “He’s so competitive, he’s going to make you pay for what he thinks you’re thinking. To me, it’s a compliment to him, if anything, that he’s able to generate motivation from a situation that that’s now how I want to guard him” Snyder said.

“Some of those threes were in transition and things like that. But again, he’s one of those guys that I love to watch him play, and there isn’t anything he can’t do on the court, including making plays and shoot.”

Even if the rumors are false, Green will find a way to motivate himself.
