Grizzlies Look To Even Series

The Memphis will look to even the series tonight against the San Antonio Spurs. After coming off a 105-94 at the FedEx Forum, the Grizzlies are not only amped up but feel like they can sense a momentum shift.

Head Coach David Fizdale already knows that Gregg Popovich has some things up his sleeve about tonight.

Per Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal, Fizdale said,

“Either they are going to come out with their A game without making a lot of changes, and they get after us,” Fizdale said. “Or Pop is going to tweak some things and they get after us. Either way, I expect them to come to play to win the game for sure.”

The Grizzlies saw major efforts from Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, and Zach Randolph who all combined for 66 points.

Keys to a game 4 win:

  • Be more aggressive on the glass. Lamarcus Aldridge and Dewayne Dedmon have trouble guarding the Grizzlies bigs.
  • Limit production from anyone not named Kawhi Leonard. Make Kawhi beat you
  • Get Marc going early. Marc has been the best player in this series for the Grizzlies, so let him get shots up early.
