The Sacramento Kings went up against the Toronto Raptors for the second time in a week and lost 108-93.

The Kings were without both De’Aaron Fox (lower quad contusion) and Zach Randolph (rest), but still came out strong and lead the Raptors by two at the half.

Despite shooting over 70 percent in the first quarter, Sacramento came back down to Earth and shot only 47 percent on the game. The Raptors shot only 42 percent, but out shot the Kings 23-6 on free throws.

Garrett Temple had a strong game with 18 points, and Bogdan Bogdanovic contributed 18 points and five assists on 7/10 shooting.  Overall, the Kings usually stellar bench struggle with just 37 points on 34 shots.

Toronto got strong showings from its star guards DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry who combined for 37 points and 12 assists. The Raptors also had six players on double figures.

Sacramento played strong enough to win in the first half of the game but struggled in the second half and failed to get to the free throw line. The Kings did, however, get strong play from several of their key contributors, including Temple and Bogdanovic.

George Hill had 16 points and five assists, while Willie Cauley-Stein added 12 points and six rebounds on 5/9 shooting.  Sacramento falls to 9-20 and heads to Philadelphia to face off against Joel Embiid and the 76ers on Tuesday.
