The NBA has seen it’s fair share of players deciding to play for their hometown, none more popular than LeBron’s decision to go back to Cleveland. The NBA has also seen players get drafted by their hometown team, like Derrick Rose, and try to find success with that team. But what if every player in the NBA was forced to play for their Hometown team? This hypothetical scenario shows what cities provided what great players, and it is fun to debate which team would be the best. In the case that one city is used for two different teams (Los Angeles) all the best players go to the bigger market team (Lakers). Also in some instances there is not enough players from a certain city or state to fill their team’s starting lineup so unfortunately there is some empty spots on a few rosters. So with all the best players playing for their hometown teams this is what the NBA would look like, listed in order of how successful the teams would be.
