An anonymous NBA GM has said that players, especially on the road, are using apps like Tinder and Instagram to find partners while on the road. The report came from ESPN’s Tom Haberstroh.

“Tin-der-i-za-tion,” the anonymous GM told Haberstroh, “like the dating app. No need to go to the clubs all night anymore.” “Tinderization of the NBA.”

Haberstroh also reached out a  former NBA All-Star who wanted to remain anonymous.

“It’s absolutely true that you get at least two hours more sleep getting laid on the road today versus 15 years ago. No schmoozing. No going out to the club. No having to get something to eat after the club but before the hotel.”

The player also hinted that players right now prefer Instagram rather than Tinder.
