Clippers guard Avery Bradley will be forced to miss the remainder of the season, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski tweets:
This is a tough blow for the Clippers, who were hoping Bradley could return by the end of the month. Bradley was acquired from Detroit in the Blake Griffin trade back in late January. Bradley appeared in just six games for the Clippers, five of which were victories.
The Clippers (36-29) currently hold the 7th spot out west, and will now have to rely on a combination of Lou Williams, Austin Rivers and Milos Teodosic to fill out the majority of the workload in the backcourt for the rest of the season. LA opted to re-sign Sean Kilpatrick to a second 10-day deal earlier today, and it would not be surprising if he signs with them for the remainder of the season given the recent news.
Avery Bradley is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and his tenure with the Clippers appears to be over.
