As the Summer winds down, and several teams still looking to complete their roster, one team that stands out as a huge improvement is the New York Knicks. With the additions of Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Courtney Lee, and Brandon Jennings, we have to question whether this team can knock off the Cavaliers.
By now we all know how confident Derrick Rose is of his team, as he called them a “Super Team.” But how good could this team be? Although this is basically a brand new squad, this team has a lot to prove.
This team has several guys who were once top players in the league, now they are all on the decline (besides Kristaps Porzingis). Some people might call the New York Knicks washed, but it could fuel them to resurrect their careers.
To put this into perspective, this team could challenge the Cavaliers, but in a playoff series, the Cavaliers would be too much for them. It’s tough to see any team in the East knocking off LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. But only time will tell how good this team could really be.
