Clippers Agree To 2-Year/$12.3M Deal With Coveted European PG Milos Teodosic

The NBA has some gifted passers in the league right now. Chris Paul, Stephen Curry, and LeBron James to name a few. However, Patrick Beverley has convinced the league that the Los Angeles Clippers just signed the best passer in the league. The Clippers agreed to a 2-year/$12.3M deal with European All-Star Milos Teodosic. The second year of the deal is a player option.

Many people may not have heard of Teodosic, but he gives the Clippers a solid PG to replace Chris Paul, who was traded to the Houston Rockets for a multitude of players. Teodosic, a former Euroleague MVP, averaged 16.1 PPG and 6.8 APG while shooting 44 percent from the field and 38 percent from deep. One of the players acquired in the Chris Paul deal was Point Guard Patrick Beverley, who was a teammate of Teodosic when they were both playing in Greece. Beverley, who once used ‘Milos Teodosic’ as his alias at a hotel, offered high praise for his newest teammate, saying “he’s the best passer in the NBA right now.” Whether that is the case remains to be seen, but the Lob City era might not be done yet in Los Angeles.
