The Golden State Warriors will be without Kevin Durant for the remainder of the regular season but there’s a chance he can return as well before the postseason. The MRI revealed that Durant will miss the rest of the regular season but sources say there’s a chance for his return before the playoffs.

The injury occurred when the Warriors faced the Wizards last night when teammate ZAZA Pachulia fell and landed on Duran’s knee.

Last night, Durant underwent an MRI for a hyperextended knee, according to ESPN’s Ethan Strauss.

As a result of his injury, the Warriors have agreed to sign Matt Barnes for the remainder of the season.
