The NBA has announced that Dwyane Wade will be fined $25,000 for his end of the game gesture against the Boston Celtics on Thursday night.  Wade made a “throat slashing” gesture at the end of a tough game, in which he put up 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assist in his Bulls debut.

Wade then apologized for his gesture on Twitter following the game:

The gesture came after Wade made a three pointer to put the Bulls up by five points against the Celtics which sealed the victory for the Bulls.  According to Espn’s Nick Friedell, Wade stated that he “had an out of body experience.”

The Bulls will host the Indiana Pacers on Saturday, in search of their second victory.
