The fantasy football season is officially in full force.

Whether fantasy managers are loaded at receiver or scrambling for answers, here are four wide receivers with the highest boom potential heading into Week 2.

D.J. Moore Already Looks Like the Answer in Buffalo

Is D.J. Moore the answer to Bills Mafia’s prayer?

The 29-year-old entered the season surrounded by speculation. Would he be the receiver that Josh Allen so desperately needed? He certainly was against the Houston Texans.

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Houston Texans in a thrilling 36-31 victory. Josh Allen wasted no time in showing fantasy managers what they were eagerly waiting for: his connection with D.J. Moore.

While Moore only caught five passes, he had 100 yards receiving and a touchdown. Despite the convincing stat line, there’s something far greater that Bills offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr. showed with Moore.

From the jump, the Bills were not afraid to take deep shots. Moore was constantly running go routes and deep slants, a clear departure from his limited production in last year’s playoffs with the Bears.

His connection with Josh Allen is evident; their chemistry already looks natural. Fantasy managers should be thrilled at the prospect of Moore in Week 2 as the Bills take on a Lions defense that allowed 410 passing yards and three passing touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints last week.

Jalen Coker Came Out of Nowhere in Week 1

Jalen Coker is defying all expectations.

The third-year receiver out of Holy Cross has taken on a larger role and excelled with it. In Week 1, Coker had eight catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns. This is incredible value for a player who had a consensus ADP of 142 in PPR formats.

Despite a horrific defensive performance, it seems like the Panthers did a tremendous amount of work on the offensive side of the ball in the offseason. After the season-ending injury of Chris Brazzell II, Coker steps into the WR2 role in a powerful offense, with a chance to surpass Tetairoa McMillan, a second-year receiver that many thought would be the clear-cut WR1 for Carolina.

The Panthers take on the Falcons in Week 2. Atlanta limited the Steelers to just 221 passing yards and one passing touchdown in Week 1, so while catches may be limited, Coker’s deep ball potential is through the roof.

Chris Olave Is Entering a New Era in New Orleans

Arguably the hottest receiver the Saints have seen in years, Chris Olave is changing New Orleans for the better.

Olave signed a four-year extension worth up to $132M and displayed his value in Week 1 with 10 catches for 182 yards. After an outstanding performance, Olave is in a good rhythm with second-year quarterback Tyler Shough

At only 26 years old, Olave is in his prime, with a talented quarterback behind him. The Saints take on a stingy Ravens defense in Week 2 that performed well against Daniel Jones in his first game back from an Achilles injury.

But as the WR1 in New Orleans’ offense, fantasy managers can expect another big performance out of Olave.

Christian Watson Reminded Everyone What He Can Do When Healthy

The Green Bay Packers have a rare talent in Christian Watson.

Watson hauled in six catches for 147 yards and two touchdowns. He looked like a completely different player compared to a season ago. With the departure of Romeo Doubs, Watson emerged as the go-to guy for Jordan Love, providing high-risk, high-reward potential. Watson exceeded those expectations and then some.

After a disappointing loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers seek revenge against the New York Jets. The Jets shut down the woeful Titans offense in Week 1, but will have to take on a much bigger challenge in Green Bay’s offense.

While Watson may not deliver the same type of performance from Week 1, he certainly has the potential to have another explosive week.
