The Atlanta Hawks plan to deal veteran guard Marco Belinelli prior to Thursday’s trade deadline, Marc Stein of The New York Times reports.
The Hawks (16-37) post the worst record in the NBA and are clear sellers as the deadline rapidly approaches. Other veterans such as Ersan Ilyasova and Dewayne Dedmon could be dealt as well, as Atlanta will look to free up playing time for their youth.
Belinelli has averaged 11.4 points (41% FG, 37% 3Pt, 93% FT) and two assists over 23.3 minutes per game this season for the Hawks.
