It looks like the Orlando Magic’s season is headed for the worst.

The Magic announced that star Center Nikola Vucevic fractured the first metacarpal in his left hand, which he suffered Saturday night against the Washington Wizards. He will be out 6-8 weeks, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Vucevic has been one of the few bright spots for Orlando over the course of this season, averaging 17.8 PPG and 9.6 RPG.

The Magic have struggled mightily since starting 8-4, losing 18 of their last 21 games. They have been hit with injuries as well, as Aaron Gordon (calf), Evan Fournier (ankle), and Terrence Ross (knee) have all been sidelined.
