Arguably the most notorious division of the AFC, the East, continues to shine. With the success of the Patriots and Bills, what’s left for the Dolphins and Jets? Perhaps Malik Willis is the missing link, or David Bailey changes New York’s fate. Regardless of speculation, here are the most impactful players of the AFC East in fantasy football.
Bills – Josh Allen
Who knew Josh Allen would become the AFC demon quarterback he is today?
The former Wyoming Cowboy continues to electrify the NFL world. After completely turning around the Buffalo Bills, the 2024 MVP is hungry for his first Super Bowl appearance. Regardless of the drought Bills’ fans are going through, Allen is decimating the fantasy field.
Since 2020, Allen has averaged at least 21 FPTS/G for six straight years. Despite last year being his worst (not surprising with the lack of talent), Allen shows no signs of slowing down. Between new signing D.J. Moore and UConn rookie Skylar Bell, Allen has an entirely new field of threats. Not to mention his incredible ability to escape the pocket and rack up rushing touchdowns, seeing as he broke Cam Newton‘s rushing TD record.
Maybe Allen hasn’t gotten a Super Bowl quite yet, but it’s no secret he’s won countless fantasy championships.
Patriots – TreVeyon Henderson
Step aside, AJ Brown; you have a record breaker on your team.
Whether it’s in college or the NFL, TreVeyon Henderson continues to defy all odds. By tying the NFL single-season record for most multiple rushing touchdowns of fifty yards or more, Henderson proved he is simply built different. Despite being forced to take snaps behind Rhamondre Stevenson, Henderson took each opportunity and made his opponents pay.
Considering the Patriots’ brilliant Super Bowl run, it’s safe to say Henderson has a team striving for success. Pair that with a young quarterback who was in tight contention for MVP, and Henderson will surely explode past his 12.1 FPTS/G. The Ohio State product is changing the game for running backs, which includes his incredible kickoff return ability.
Simply put, Henderson has the potential to be a franchise running back that will have fantasy managers salivating at the mouth.
Dolphins – De’Von Achane
After eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark in 2025, De’Von Achane was about the only good thing the Dolphins had last year.
The twenty-four-year-old running back continues to be in contention as a top-five pick in any fantasy league. Amassing an incredible 322 fantasy points last year, Achane continues to elevate his game to legendary levels. With the addition of Malik Willis, Achane finds a new range of opportunity, as he will heavily rely on his superstar running back.
It’s no secret the Dolphins have a lot of work to do. But whether or not Jeff Hafley is the missing link does not change how Achane continues to decimate his opponents.
Jets – Garrett Wilson
Is there any Jets player worth drafting?
The Jets are sadly the continual laughing stock of the NFL. Whether their defense couldn’t intercept the ball or their offense looked like chickens with their heads cut off, the Jets struggled in 2025. Garrett Wilson only played in seven of those games, putting up respectable numbers. So, what changed?
Despite the massive amount of criticism Geno Smith received, he had one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. Adding a veteran quarterback like Smith and revamping the offensive line changes their outlook dramatically. The former Ohio State Buckeye could be entering his best season. As a clear WR1 within the ranks of Adonai Mitchell and Omar Cooper Jr., Wilson is going to be getting some hefty targets. Not to mention the fact that Smith loves to throw risky and aggressive throws, which is the perfect combo for Wilson’s playstyle.
After all, Garrett Wilson is one heck of a receiver. This may very well be the year he jumps to double-digit touchdown receptions.
The AFC East will likely keep its top-heavy contenders in the Bills and Patriots. It doesn’t seem like that will be changing in terms of fantasy players, either. But who knows? In fantasy football, anything can happen.
