CJ McCollum Hands Chandler Parsons Two L’s on Friday

After a neck and neck game between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Memphis Grizzlies; The Blazers came out on top 112-109, where Portland’s backcourt combined for 51 points.

In his fourth year in the league, CJ McCollum (18 Points) has solidified himself as one of the top shooting guards in the NBA. Helping Portland get their 21st win of the season, McCollum didn’t leave it all on the court though.

The Portland Trail Blazers twitter account fired shots at Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons in a GIF:

In response, Parsons (8 Points) replied by tweeting back at the Blazers:

As if we thought there weren’t enough Twitter Fingers firing shots already, CJ McCollum put an end to all the beef, by quoting Parsons tweet and completely roasting him to serve Chandler Parsons his second L in less than 2 hours:

Yikes!

Portland is on a current 3 game winning streak (4 if you count CJ’s W on twitter) and they’ll be facing off against the league’s best, the Golden State Warriors, on Sunday.

After a tough loss against Portland, Memphis will try to get back on track against the Utah Jazz tomorrow and hope for a bigger contribution from Chandler Parsons, who’s having a career low in just about every category after suffering a left knee injury that’s caused him to miss over half the season (29 games) already.

Hopefully, chandLer parsons will recover in tomorrow’s game from his two devastating losses tonight. Thankfully, that L won’t go on Memphis’ record, as they’re sitting at the 7th seed in the West and are 1 1/2 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder for the 6th seed.
